Neue Drohungen Anfang Mai - Anfang Mai drohten die Extremisten mit neuen Angriffen auf Christen. Muslime sollten Ansammlungen von Christen und Ausländern aus dem Westen meiden, warnte ein namentlich nicht genannter Anführer der Gruppe in einem Interview der IS-Publikation „Al-Nabaa“. Er forderte Muslime auch dazu auf, Einrichtungen der ägyptischen Armee, Polizei und Regierung fernzubleiben.

Background: The Islamic State (IS) released an interview with its leader in Egypt in the 79th issue of its al-Naba weekly newspaper, in which he called on Egyptian Muslims to “join your brothers
of the Islamic State,” warning them to stay away from gatherings of “disbeliever” as IS Fighters “can strike at any time.” The newspaper was issued on Telegram on May 4, 2017.
In the majority of the interview, the leader addressed Muslims in Egypt, calling on them “to resurrect the call for monotheism and Jihad,” and declaring neither weapons nor
“alliance with the apostate tyrants” will protect them. He followed up, stating “we do not wish for anyone of you to get hurt,” warning:
“We are stressing and warning you to stay away from the areas of interest and gathering of the Christians, as well as the gathering locations of the army and
the police, and the areas that has political governmental facilities or locations that gather the expats from the Western crusader countries and
others, because all these are legitimate targets for us and we can strike it at any time, by the permission of Allah, and we do not wish for anyone of you to
get hurt in operations that are targeting those polytheist disbelievers, so stay away, and inform anyone who does not know of that to beware, we ask Allah
for our and your safety”.
